By using Alite — Split Bill, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Split Bill is a free utility for listing shared bills and calculating how to settle them. It runs in your browser and stores its data locally on your device.

It is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.

You are responsible for the amounts you enter and for the real-world settlement between you and the people you split with.

Split Bill performs calculations only. It does not hold, transfer, or request money, and it has no connection to any payment provider.

Because everything is stored on your device, keeping your data is up to you. Clearing your browser storage, using private browsing, or switching devices will remove bills we cannot recover. Export anything you need to keep.

Please don't use Split Bill unlawfully, or attempt to disrupt it for other people. Beyond that, the app is yours to use however it helps.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alite is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including errors in calculations or loss of locally stored data.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
