No account, no tracking of your bills

Split Bill does not require an account. The bills, groups, and settings you create are stored only in your browser’s local storage on your device — they are never uploaded to us.

Receipt scanning

Receipt OCR runs entirely on your device. Images you scan are processed locally and are not sent to any server.

What we can see

Because your data stays on your device, we cannot see your bills. Basic, anonymous hosting logs may be collected by our infrastructure provider to keep the site running securely.

Your control

You can export your data at any time, and clearing it removes it permanently. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
